Where Your Fredericton Trees, Tree Trimmings, Yard Waste Goes
Trees, trimmings, and yard waste are hauled to one of the organic waste handling stations for sorting. If it can be used, it will be. Otherwise, it will be composted and later used in local gardening and landscaping projects.

Like non-perishables and frozen foods, the Integrity Team donates any good food to local community kitchens like Fredericton Community Kitchens to help with school lunch programs and community meals. Any perishables, open packages, and frozen foods unsuitable for consumption are hauled to an organics handling station near you for composting in the Fredericton area. Whatever is left is taken to the landfill.
Where Do You Take Old Mattresses In Fredericton?
Unlike mattresses, recycling stations can take box springs apart, and the wood and metal springs can be recycled. Unfortunately, old mattresses are not accepted for donation due to concerns about bed bugs, stains, viruses, and so forth.
